Ladies and Seniors Group Coaching
This week we began our spring group coaching sessions for the Ladies and Seniors. It was great to see everyone out on the range for the driving session which I am sure will help them to hit the ball longer and straighter this season.
Thank you to everyone who took part and look forward to the next sessions.
Ladies Bridge Club
The Bridge club ladies at Brampton Park have won all their matches and therefore have won the league. The team was Julie Miller, Elaine Cardwell, Anne Roberts, Jane Macglashan, Elaine Waldock, Anne Gibb, Jude Thompson and Yvonne Palfrey. This league has been set up by Yvonne and has been a fantastic inter-club success with lady golfers from St Neots and Ramsey competing. This is the first year this has taken place and has been enjoyed by all that were able to take part. Anyone who is interested in learning more about this then I am sure Yvonne would love to hear from you.
Par 3 Competition
With the bad weather that arrived last week we are really pleased with the feedback we had this weekend about our Par 3 course. Many people complemented the layout and had fun which was great. It was also really good that many of you also took part in the par 3 competition over the two days and the results are as follows.
Saturday 12th March
Congratulations to Mark Emerson on winning with a score of 22. Close in second place was Gordon Cooper with a score of 24. There were two 2's; Mike Wallis and Roger Valentine and both have had their proshop accounts credited with £9.50.
Sunday 13th March
Congratulations to Malcolm Bainbridge, winning on countback with a score of 26, in second place was Nigel Mersh also with a score of 26. There was only one 2 on the day made by Steve Lockert who has been credited with £9 on his proshop account.
Well done to all that played over the weekend on a very fun Par 3 course.
The Members Cup
You may have noticed there is a new competition on HowDidIDo scheduled for the 2nd of April, called 'The Members Cup'. This is a new Board Competition, generously sponsored by Mr Mike Wallis to support Brampton Park representation in National, Inter-County and County competitions. At Mike's choice it will be played as a Bogey competition, open to all 7 day male and female members.
We hope as many of you as possible play and take your chance to be the very first name on the board in this new annual event. Entries close on 23 March and there are limited spaces available.
