Last weekend the Scratch Team and Junior Team enjoyed a day at Woodhall Spa Golf Club. They spent the morning using the private short game area, with some coaching from Al and a great variety of challenges and games between the group. This was a great facility that help the team to develop their short game skills by learning some new shots and developing their current skills. The winner of the Skills Challenge was Harry Edwards and the winner of the Par 18 was Jack Edwards, the juniors showing the scratch team how it is done.
In the afternoon the teams headed out onto the Hotchkin Course to play in a team comp with best two scores counting.
Along the way Al was going from group to group to help individuals with shot selection which saw improvements in the level of golf as the round went on. Since we have been back it is great to hear the positive responses about the day, it was a great team building day.
