The Masters is Nearly Here
Next week the best players in the world head to Augusta National for the 2017 Masters. They look to battle it out for one of the most coveted prizes in golf, the green jacket. I think Danny Willett may have a fight on his hands to retain his title. Newly crowned world number one, Dustin Johnson will be looking to win his second major title and Irishman Rory McIlroy is trying to win the grand slam. Sets up to be a fantastic tournament. In honour of the event we have got our masters draw up and running, be sure to come in and pick your player.

BPGC SMS vs Lakeside (Pidley) Monday, 20 March 2017
The first match of the season took place at home on Monday, 20 March. We thought that the forecasters had got it wrong, and that the weather gods would smile on us. Unfortunately, towards the end some light rain became heavy, and then a deluge before all were in. The nearest the pin for the Captain's Charity was won by...the Captain. There were some close games, and some not so close; in the end it was settled by the last putt of the last group out, halved match.
