Our Boys at The Belfry
Adam and Adam both went to the belfry last week to complete their PGA exams. Adam M did his year 1 exams, whilst Adam P had his year 2 exams. Both feel confident with their effort which should hopefully see them sail through to next year.
Good luck boys!

James Wins His First Pro Event On Jamega Tour
A great couple of days at Essenden GC, Hertfordshire for my first comp on the Jamega Tour. Day one saw great weather and a steady round where at last, after a few practice sessions last week, the putter started working again and I ended up with a solid four under which kept me at the top of the leaderboard, until the last pairing came in and David Dixon shot one better.
Day two's weather conditions weren't as enjoyable with a freezing wind making the course play longer and harder than the day before. Again, I played consistently, shooting a bogey free round 71 (2 under), which put me in a two-way tie with James Scade at six under.
So, onto a sudden death play-off. The first two holes were pars for both of us, with James holing a good putt on the first extra hole to stay in the game. The long par five 12th was our third play off hole, I made a steady five, however James left himself a four foot putt for his five which just slid by the right edge meaning I had claimed my first professional win and first win on the Jamega Tour.
Having struggled with my game the couple of weeks prior to the event it was rewarding to see the hard work pay off and a big confidence boost for the Alps Tour event in Madrid next week.
Thanks to all the members and in particular my sponsors from Brampton Park GC and Golfshake.com for their continuing support.
