Cambridgeshire Past Captains
Cambridgeshire Past Captains held their Annual Inter-Club Competition at Girton Golf Club on Wednesday 3rd May 2017. I am pleased to report that Brampton Park, who had been knocking on the door in second place this last couple of years, secured a very good win yesterday.
The team comprised of 4 players with the best 3 scores counting and we amassed 109 points, winning by 4 points from St.Neots and Girton. A total of 12 clubs were taking part in the competition. Although it was a team effort John Topping came in with a very good 40 points, which was the highest points of the day.
The team consisted of: Doug Poole, Alan Wood, Colin Allison and John Topping who were excellently lead by the non-playing Captain David Creek, who obviously got his tactics right. Brampton have won the Cup previously, but not since 1999.
Well done to all.

Ace Adam
Adam P was playing a friendly game on Sunday evening here at Brampton Park when he made a hole in one on the 15th hole. He hit a 9 iron from 156 yards and watched as the ball spin back into the hole. It was his third hole in one. Well done Adam P!
