US OPEN
Congratulations to Martin Kaymer on a fantastic performance to not only win the US Open but win by the margin he did.
There were a few things we can all learn from this as Martin decided to try and change his swing a few years ago moving from his natural fade shape to a draw.
This did not work out for him and so decided to revert back with hours and hours of practice required to return to the way and shape he previously had.
Do you have a natural shape of shot if so the key may be to reduce it down rather than eliminate it?
Do you practice hitting that shape of shot on the range?
When playing the course do you take the shape into account when trying risky shots?
These are questions you may ask yourself on the way round and when you find the answer like Martin who knows what you can achieve!
