This year we saw one of the most exciting opens in years with so many great shots being hit on a fantastic golf course and what a worthy winner in Rory McIlroy. Helen and I had the opportunity to go and watch on Thursday taking our youngest Georgia as Lauren our other daughter was already there as part of a school trip organised by the St Ivo upper school.
It was fab to see all the players and we watched them all playing from the 17th Tee in the morning and the 14th Tee in the afternoon also watching them play the short par thee 13th in the afternoon
