US Masters Finally, The Masters Week is here! The start to the golfing year! This year it is filled with so many great storylines; can Sergio go back to back? Can McIlroy complete his career grand slam? Can Poulter do the unthinkable and win The Houston Open (to get into The Masters), then win The Masters. The lefties are looming, with Phil and Bubba both in great form and can Tiger Woods achieve one of the greatest comebacks ever by winning his fifth Green Jacket. The stage is set for a fantastic week of golf at Augusta National. I for one am so excited, whatever happens it will be an amazing spectacle.

Ladies Competition Results Lady Vice, Karen Large, organised our March Hare Competition on Tuesday 27th to celebrate Easter. A lot of effort went into this and despite the weather, we all (egg) soldiered on. As everyone waited in the changing room it looked like we would have to organise an ‘in house’ putting competition. However, we were reliably informed by Nick that it would be good after 10 O’clock. A show of hands to compete in a 9 hole Comp was taken up by 22 ladies; a great effort and while we had to ‘scramble’ together the teams under eggsacting circumstances, we were all ‘white’ in the end! The results of the day were: - 1st. Shirley Osborne, Helen Verrechia, Jane McGlashan, May Burn. 47pts.
- 2nd. Fay Allison, Sarah Rennie, Belinda Borneo and May (floater) 44 pts (OCB)
- Nearest the Chick (Bronze). Julie Peacock
- Nearest the Chick (Silver). Fay Allison.
- The Best Easter Hat Comp was won by Julie Peacock. Judged by Ann Norman’s granddaughters. A great effort from all the ladies who took part.
Thanks to Lady Captain Elaine for supporting the day and presenting the prizes.

Put your name up in lights |
It only comes around once a year and it’s that time again - Masters week! The first Major of the year takes place at Augusta National this week, which we always take as a sign that the season is getting underway. With this in mind, we have one question for you: are you ready to play your best golf this year? |
Maximise your potential We've all sat looking at the honours boards in a clubhouse before, admiring the one name that appears to be on most and thinking 'wow, they must be pretty good!' Well, how good would it feel if that name up in lights was yours? If you come and speak to us we can talk about your strengths, weaknesses and goals for this season and look at the best way to help you achieve them, whether that’s a one-off fault-fixer lesson, regular sessions to aid your consistency or perhaps a look at your equipment. |
