First up on Saturday we have the Intershipping trophy Sunday we have the monthly medal combined with the scratch cup Monday we have the opening scramble

Wednesday 'W' Results 13-08-14
In first place was Andrew Gilfillan with 42 points winning £52, in second was Owen Davies with 41 and winning £36 in Third after countback was the young Fraser Hutton with 37 points and winning £25. Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who took part!
Cambridge Evening News Qualifier 16-08-14
In first place was David Easter and Neil Hewson with a score of 65.5, the pairing scored very well and hit form to make an impressive eagle on the par 5 8th!
In 2nd place were Ian Robinson and Dave Humphreys with the score of 67.5
In 3rd place were the pairing of Steve Lockert and Tony Butler with 70.5, these are the top 3 that go through to the next round so congratulations! There were only two 2's on the day which came to John Davy and Vince Davies, and Paul Hill playing alongside Scott Ballentine, £14.00 have been credited to your accounts!

Ladies Match vs Girton
RESULT: In this Ladies' Match v Girton on Thursday 7th August, Brampton lost 1-2. Conditions were good and unfortunately the visitors played too well. The Team was Katie Dixon & Jane McGlashan, Sally Acton & Trina Miller, Anne Roberts & Val Williams. Sally and Trina won their match.
Ladies Skerry Challenge
Singles stableford, Sunday 10th August, was postponed due to Hurricane Bertha bringing heavy rain, thunder and lightning. Rescheduled on Sunday 31st August.
Mixed Match vs Menzies
The results of the mixed match v Menzies on Sunday 17th August, was won 5 -1 by Brampton. Everyone enjoyed a delicious breakfast. We set off being very lucky to avoid the showers. Old friends, and new, competed in a friendly competitive spirit. Thank you to the successful team: it was R Miller & K Dixon, D Nicholson & J Cardwell, N Phillpotts & B Strand,E Cardwell & J Davey, J Miller & D Creek, B Davey & A Wood.
George - A couple of weeks ago I finished second in a Pro/Am at Orsett golf club with a level par round just two shots off winning. I also have many competitions coming up over the next month; two pro/ams at Ely City and Swaffham (22/08/14 & 08/09/14); The Cambridgeshire County Open at Saffron Walden (24/08/14); Inter county championship qualifying at Bush Hill GC representing Bedfordshire&Cambs (26/08/14); East region PGA trainees championship at Bishops Stortford GC (02/09/14) East Region order of merit events 5 and 6 Basildon golf club 15th + 16th of September and Rayleigh Golf Club 24th and 25th of September. All of this golf is a great way to end the summer. My main focus is on the two order of merit events but sadly with this game you can never choose when to play at your best so hopefully my swing will stay with me throughout the month and I can achieve my first professional outright win.
