Titleist fitting day

Last week we had the first fitting day with the New Titleist TS Drivers and fairway woods here at Brampton .

Titleist’s R & D Department were given the brief last year to create a Driver that will carry the ball further and yes they have achieved this.

We had the chance to gain knowledge on the fitting process by watching and learning from the fitter James Robertson.

Thanks James great info and overall everyone that was fitted managed to gain at least 3MPH ball speed and gain over 10 yards of distance.

Time to Make Some Changes

As we head into autumn now is the time to look at improving the game for the 2019 season.

Whether it be a check up on the basics, a type of shot you would like to learn, or to get rid of a wayward shot that has plagued you as you came down the stretch now is the time to look at improving.

For someone that has not had lessons here at Brampton before we also offer an introductory lesson with one of our 3 PGA Professionals for only £9.99.

This is a great opportunity to get to take your golf to the next level, whether you’re playing for the first time or looking to become a single figure handicapper.

Wednesday W - 10/10/2018

Congratulations to Geoff Beaver who won The Wednesday W with 39 points, well played!

In second and third were the Pedlar duo, Sam Pedlar managed to beat his Dad, Neil Pedlar on countback as they both achieved 38 points.

Finishing fourth also with 38 points was Rick Wilcox. There were 9 twos, they were made by Bevis Moynan, Roy James, Bryant Edey, Malcolm Bainbridge, Mike Prince, Larry Barnes, Ron Cowper, Stuart Miller and Vince Davies.

Each two was worth £8.22 credited to their proshop account.

It's time for a change

When you step onto the tee with a driver in hand, there are two thoughts in most golfers' minds: "Hit it far, and hit it straight". Both of these were easier said than done, until Titleist released its new TS2 and TS3 drivers earlier this year...
