Welcome to what is a very special mail.

25 and a bit years ago a young lad drove through the gates of Brampton Park Golf Club to start his career here  and in what seems like a blink of an eye will be leaving the position of PGA Professional today.

When we started at Brampton Park teletext had just begun, the Ford Mondeo had just been launched, Greg Norman won the Open, the first premier league season was won by Manchester United and Grunge fashion with ripped jeans and doctor martin boots were in.

We would like to thank everyone for what has been a fantastic journey with many laughs, great experiences and the opportunity to meet so many different people along the way.

Throughout this time we have met over 50000 golfers and tried to remember most of their names. The juniors who started now have families of their own that have gone on to play golf. The younger members now represent the club as seniors and the competition ethos has remained with the spirit of the club being unique in the county and probably the Country.

As we write this the memories come flooding back of things that have happened from holes in one to trolleys going into lakes,all the winners of competitions and those that nearly didso to single out individual events or people would be impossible but with every name of a member a fun event is associated.

We wish everyone at Brampton Park all the best for the future and thank you all for being part of our lives. We look forward to seeing you all again.
