MERRY CHRISTMAS

Captains Drive In
On Sunday we had the Captains Drive In.
Before we welcomed the new Captains, last years played the 18th Hole as their last of term in office. I would like to thank last year's Captains for all their help and support to Ray, Katie , Martin and Lewis we hope you enjoyed your year and thank you.
This year's Captains took to the opening tee shots like ducks to water with 4 fantastic drives totaling 822 yards
Jack Edwards Junior Captain started off proceedings followed by John Maith Seniors Captain, Helen Phillpotts Lady Captain continued the quality of drives and finally Chris Cuthbert Mens Captain who smashed the longest drive of 241 yards
Best wishes for the year and may your drives continue long and straight, (please remember though you drive show and Putt for dough).

Midweek Medal 10/12/14
In first place was Anthony Garside with a nett 68, in second place was Ricky Bleasdale with a nett 69 and in 3rd on count back over David Cotton with 70 points was Keith Curr. There were also 5 two's on the day, they came to Dennis Wells, Roger Knight, Stuart Miller, Mike Prince and Eddie Cloke, all have received £8.80 each two which has been credited to their accounts. Congratulations to all that took part and to the winners!
Christmas Scramble 13/12/14
The winning team were Steve Kesseler, Gai Power, Nick Miller and Stuart Miller with a net 55.125, in second place the team of James Rowe, Mike Regan, Brian Thomas and John Davy with 55.875 and in 3rd place were the team of Phill Slusar, JDW Davies, James Wise and Simon Burns with a nett 56.
The eagles came to James Rowe, Mike Regan, Brian Thomas and John Davy on the 8th, Phill Slusar, JDW Davies James Wise and Simon Burns on the 11th and Mo Poole, Doug Poole, Jack Edwards and Harry Edwards on the 14th. Congratulations to everyone that took part and to all the winners!
Captains 4BBB 14/12/14
In first place were Brian Fett and John Newton with a score of 43 points. Second place fell to Malcolm Bainbridge and Lynn Griffiths with the same score of 43 points, but just beaten on countback. Third spot was taken by Richard Goodwin and Scott Boswell, just one point adrift of the leader with 42. There were only 3 twos on the day! These were scored by Gai Power & Steve Kesseler, David Croker & Dennis Lea and Stuart & Nick Miller. All of you have been credited £10.83 to your pro shop account.
