Greetings golfers,
Don't forget that the clocks go forward this weekend! So make sure you check the time before your game on Sunday!
The 79th US Masters Tournament takes place between April 9-12 at Augusta, with Tiger Woods poised to return to action after a two-month break.
Can the 14-time Major winner claim an unlikely fifth Masters title, ten years after his last Augusta triumph?
Rory McIlroy will hope not, with the Northern Irishman hoping to break his Masters duck. In 2011, he blew a four shot lead and shot the worst ever round from a final day leader to lose out to Charl Schwartzel.
Bubba Watson won the tournament last year - his second Masters title - and is among the favourites to retain his title. Who is he up against this year?
We will be running our usual sweepstake in the Pro Shop, at £3.00 per entry so why not pop in and have a go at picking the winner!

This is just to clarify that the next sentence is not a typo!
Winner of the week's winter bash was John Lindsay with an emphatic FIFTY points! YES 50 points! This incredible round by John who WAS playing off a handicap of 18. Well done John it's good to see.
John has been having a series of lessons with myself and (( dispite my coaching ))) the lessons are paying dividends !
Second place also with a great score was Steve Wilson with 43 Points, third place fell to Malcolm Ashby with 40 points, just edging out Steve Foster on countback.

- In February we had 8 roll-ups. There were an average of 34 players (coincidentally the same as December and January) who braved the cold weather. The honours were evenly spread with only Alan Palfrey winning two events.
- The Winter KO final was keenly contested by John Ballentine and Eddie Danks, with Eddie just coming out on top. Congratulations to both players.
- Sign-up for the President's Rose Bowl competition has been slow this year with less than 30 entries at this time. Maybe it has been affected by the proximity to Easter this year?
- The match season is commencing next week, with a further 5 matches in April.
- My football team have sacked the coach and appointed Dick Advocaat to avoid relegation. It has been said that the do not have a SNOWBALLS chance!! It made me laugh.
