Well it seems this is where the season really starts.
There was an Exhibition event at Girton on 5th March that 9 ladies attended. It was led by Becky Brewerton who spent time discussing the mental approach and it was gratifying to hear that even the best players can have serious issues with their game at time. On 8th March we had a mixed match versus Abbotsley. The weather was decent and the course was in good condition. Putting greens were a little bobbly but nothing that couldn't stop us. We did very well beating them 3 ½ to 2 ½. Thanks to all who took part.
On the same day was Mail on Sunday competition took place. Unfortunately it wasn't to be our day and we lost 4 - 1. Thanks again to all the ladies who took part.
Trina Miller and Amanda Rawson were last year's winners that went forward to the Daily Mail Foursomes. Unfortunately they weren't so lucky and lost to their opponents, St Ives. Well done though for getting this far. On 19th March we played the Grace Norman at home against Heydon Grange and came out winning 3 - 0. I would like to say well done to the ladies who played. Also thank you to the ladies supporting as it was a very cold day but support always helps.
On the 26th March we had a friendly against March at March and again were successful winning 3 - 1. Thanks again to those ladies.
Recent prizes awarded at the supper evening were:
